Research Coordinator publishes in Oncology Nursing Forum, receives UP International Publication Awar

Dan Louie Renz P. Tating, Research Coordinator of Nightingale Research Solutions, successfully publishes his undergraduate case report with Natasha Denise Montevirgen, RN, and mentor Prof. Loyda Amor Cajucom, MAN, RN, in the March 2016 issue of Oncology Nursing Forum, an official publication of the Oncology Nursing Society in the United States, with a high impact factor of 2.708. The case presented was one of the patients they handled in the Pediatric Charity Ward of the Philippine General Hospital.

For this publication, Renz and the his co-authors shared the PhP 80,000.00 grant as part of the UP International Publication Award. This is an award administered by the UP Office of Vice President for Academic Affairs to "encourage faculty, REPS and students to contribute to the body of knowledge in their respective fields/discipline by publishing in internationally respected journals that are peer-reviewed and adhere to high standards of scholarship."

The authors of this article also presented in the Research Forum of the UPOU Faculty of Management and Development Studies.
